Photography Terms & Conditions

1. General Terms

By using Meihodo's photography facilities, you agree to these terms and conditions. These terms apply to all photography sessions, facility rentals, and related services.

2. Facility Usage

  • Facility usage is limited to one group per day
  • Entry to facilities is permitted 15 minutes before your scheduled start time
  • Facility usage time includes changing time and is not the photography end time
  • Late departure will incur additional charges of ¥1,500 per person

3. Photography Guidelines

  • Respect the cultural significance of all spaces and buildings
  • No photography in designated private or restricted areas
  • Cosplay and costume photography is welcome but must be respectful
  • Commercial photography requires prior written permission
  • Drones and aerial photography are not permitted

4. Safety & Conduct

  • Follow all safety instructions provided by staff
  • Do not damage or deface any property or facilities
  • Keep noise levels appropriate for the cultural setting
  • Children must be supervised at all times
  • No smoking in any buildings or designated areas

5. Cancellation Policy

  • Same day cancellation or no-show: 100% charge
  • One day prior cancellation: 50% charge
  • Repeated cancellations may result in future booking restrictions
  • Weather-related cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis

6. Liability & Insurance

  • Meihodo is not responsible for personal injury during photography sessions
  • Users are responsible for their own equipment and personal belongings
  • Commercial photographers must provide proof of liability insurance
  • Damage to facilities will result in additional charges

7. Image Rights

  • Photographers retain rights to their images
  • Meihodo may request permission to use images for promotional purposes
  • Images must not be used to misrepresent the facility or its services
  • Commercial use of facility images requires written permission

8. Payment Terms

  • All fees must be paid in advance at the front desk
  • Valid identification is required for first-time users
  • Additional charges for late departure or damage will be collected at the end of the session
  • Prices are subject to change with prior notice
