Overview of the Kumamoto Reconstruction Support Discount

• Eligible stay period October 1, 2026 – December 25, 2026
• Sales start From 10:00 a.m. on September 15, 2026, with participating accommodation facilities opening reservations individually once preparations are complete
• Discount rate 60% of eligible travel and accommodation charges
• Maximum discount Up to JPY 20,000 per person, per reservation

• Reservations will close once the allocated subsidy budget for each accommodation facility has been exhausted.
• Reservations completed before the Kumamoto Reconstruction Support Discount becomes available are, in principle, not eligible for the discount.

Details regarding the eligible plan, reservation start date, and booking method will be announced on our official website once preparations are complete.

Please read before booking

If you would like the Kumamoto Reconstruction Support Discount applied, you will need to make a new reservation with us directly by email, for a dedicated plan eligible for the Kumamoto Reconstruction Support Discount sold by Meihodo.

※ Reservations by telephone are not accepted.

If you have already booked a standard plan or any other plan, that reservation cannot be changed to the Kumamoto Reconstruction Support Discount later, nor can the discount be added to it on its own.

Reservations completed before the eligible plans go on sale are, in principle, also not eligible for the discount.

If you would like to move an existing reservation to an eligible plan, you will need to cancel your current reservation first and then book the eligible plan again once it is on sale.

Please note, however, that we cannot guarantee that the same room and the same dates will still be available after your current reservation has been cancelled. Depending on occupancy and availability at that time, rebooking may not be possible.

The Kumamoto Reconstruction Support Discount is also expected to require the accommodation facility to complete an application and confirmation procedure after a reservation is made. The discount is confirmed only once that procedure is complete, so booking an eligible plan does not in itself mean the discount is final.

The budget is limited. Should the budget allocated to Meihodo be used up, we may have to close reservations even during the eligible period.

Once the discount has been confirmed, we will explain the final amount payable and how payment is settled, in accordance with the official rules of the program.
