Please review our cancellation policy, allergy and menu-change deadlines, late-arrival service, fragrance guidelines, photography and social media rules, and compensation for damage.

  • Fees apply to the amount agreed at booking.
  • Refunds follow the payment method used.
  • Cancellations due to weather or transport may be handled case by case.
  • Full details are confirmed when you reserve.

Allergies & menu changes—deadlines

Allergies

Please inform us of allergies or foods you avoid when you book. Same-day changes may not be possible.

Limitations

  • No same-day changes
  • We cannot guarantee zero trace contact
  • Shared kitchen equipment may involve minimal cross-contact
  • Guests accept residual risk at their discretion

Late arrival & shortened service

If you arrive late

If you arrive after your reservation time, we may shorten your meal service accordingly.

Guidelines

  • Within 15 minutes: service as usual
  • 15–30 minutes: shortened service time
  • More than 30 minutes: may be treated as cancellation

  • Contact us in advance if you expect to be late.
  • You agree that service may be shortened.
  • We consider impact on other guests.
  • Cancellation fees may apply.

Fragrance & strong scents

Out of courtesy to others

To respect fellow diners, please avoid heavy perfume, tobacco odor, and strongly scented products.

  • Heavily fragranced hair products

Photography & social media

Photos

You may photograph your meal. Sharing on social media is welcome.

Photo rules

  • No flash
  • Do not photograph other guests
  • Photos of our chefs at work may be permitted
  • Commercial use is not allowed

Social media

  • Hashtags: #料亭鳴鳳堂 #鳴鳳堂
  • Location tagging is fine
  • Avoid showing other guests’ faces
  • Please avoid posts that could harm our reputation

Damage & compensation

Breakage or soiling

If tableware or property is damaged or stained, we may ask for reimbursement.

What may be charged

  • Tableware (bowls, plates, chopsticks, etc.)
  • Furnishings (linens, chairs, etc.)
  • Decor (flower vases, ornaments, etc.)
  • Other property of the restaurant

Amount

  • Actual replacement or repair cost
  • Repair cost when repair is possible
  • Cost of substitutes
  • Cleaning fees when applicable

Important notes

  • Intentional damage: full reimbursement
  • Accidental damage: typically at actual cost
  • Payment by cash or credit card
  • Inform staff immediately if anything is damaged or spilled

General conduct

Not permitted

  • Behavior that disturbs other guests
  • Loud conversation in shared areas
  • Phone calls (except in private rooms)
  • Outside food or drink
  • Pets
  • Smoking outside designated areas

Disclaimer

  • Delays or cancellations due to weather or transport beyond our control
  • Illness or inability to dine
  • Accidents or theft outside our direct control
  • Injury due to guest negligence

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when necessary. Revised terms take effect when posted on our website.
