Accommodation
What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM.
Is parking available?
Complimentary parking is available, with ample space for all guests.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
Are children welcome to stay?
Yes, guests of all ages — including infants — are warmly welcomed. Bed guards and futon mattresses can be prepared upon request.
Are pets allowed?
We regret that pets are not permitted on the premises.
Do you have hot springs (onsen)?
Each guest room is equipped with its own private bath; however, please note that the water is not from a natural hot spring.
Are the baths private?
Yes — every guest room features a private bath for your exclusive use.
Are washing machines available?
Washing machines are provided at Geihinkan and Korokan only.
Are long-term stays possible?
Yes, extended stays are most welcome. Please feel free to contact us by email to discuss your preferred dates.
Experiences
Can I book an experience on the day of my visit?
Same-day reservations may be available depending on our schedule.
Are English-language guides available?
Yes — our staff provide guidance and instruction in English for all experiences.
Can complete beginners join?
Absolutely. Most of our guests are first-time participants, and our instructors guide you through each step with great care so that you can enjoy your experience with complete confidence.
Can children take part in the experiences?
Some experiences have age restrictions, and certain programs may have additional safety requirements such as a minimum height. Please feel free to contact us in advance so that we can advise on the most suitable programs for your group.
What should I wear?
For martial arts experiences and the Waterfall Meditation Training, we provide traditional dōgi (training attire) — please wear something easy to change into. For cultural experiences, we recommend clothing that allows you to sit comfortably on the floor.
Are experiences held on rainy days?
Yes, all experiences are offered rain or shine.
How long does each experience take?
The Samurai Experience takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes; most other experiences are around 1 hour. Durations may vary slightly depending on the program — if you are on a tight schedule, please let us know in advance.
Can I take part in several experiences on the same day?
Yes — depending on availability, multiple experiences can be enjoyed on a single day.
Are real bows used for Kyudo (Japanese Archery)?
We use the fiberglass bows commonly used in modern Kyudo practice — they are both authentic in form and approachable for beginners.
Do I need to sit in seiza (formal kneeling) during the tea ceremony?
Not at all. Low chairs are available for guests who find seiza uncomfortable. Please feel free to let us know upon arrival.
May I take photos or videos during the experience?
Yes, photography and video are welcome. After your experience, our staff will also be happy to take a group photo on your phone if you wish.
Dining
Do you offer plans that include meals?
You may choose from room-only, breakfast-included, dinner-included, or two-meal plans.
Can you accommodate vegetarian diets?
Yes, we are pleased to prepare vegetarian meals. Please note that our dashi (broth) is made with fish, so fully vegan options may not always be possible.
Can you accommodate food allergies?
We will do our utmost to accommodate any dietary requirements. Kindly notify us at least one week before your arrival.
Are there restaurants nearby?
Yes, there are several dining options in the surrounding area. We are happy to make reservations on your behalf upon request.
May I bring my own food or drinks?
Yes, you are most welcome to bring your own food and beverages.
Is BBQ available?
Yes — please let us know in advance, and we will be glad to prepare a BBQ set for your stay.

What is the nearest station?
The nearest stations are Ichinokawa Station and Aso Station.
Is there a shuttle service from Aso Station?
Yes, complimentary pick-up is available with advance reservation.
Can you arrange a taxi for me?
Of course. Please feel free to ask at the front desk and we will be happy to arrange one for you.

May I bring my own filming equipment?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own equipment, provided it does not inconvenience other guests.
Can the property be reserved for exclusive use?
Yes. Exclusive bookings are available, with the full room charge plus a photography/filming usage fee.
Are changing rooms available?
Yes, changing rooms are provided. The specific room offered depends on the size of your group and our reservation status on the day.
Reservations & Cancellations
What is your cancellation policy?
• 7–4 days before arrival: 30% of the accommodation fee • 3–1 days before arrival: 50% of the accommodation fee • Day of arrival: 100% of the accommodation fee • No-show without notice: 100% of the accommodation fee
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, bank transfer, credit cards, and electronic money (e-money).
Can a receipt be issued?
Yes, receipts are available upon request — please feel free to let us know.
